泸州老窖的推广方式为“柒泉模式”,其弊端在于按地区设立分公司过于粗放,且对于各地经销商来说,倾向于只推利润高的单品,不利于品类扩张。“柒泉模式”显著提升经销商积极性,降低销售费率同时大幅提升收入,“柒泉模式”最大的特点在于经销商持股,经销商除赚取价差利润外,还能享受柒泉公司分红,积极性大为提高。老窖06年开始推出“柒泉模式”,营收增速迈上新台阶。此外,由于厂家直接对接柒泉公司,以折扣价出售产品即可,不直接承担营销相关费用,所以泸州老窖的销售费用率显著下降,在采取“柒泉模式”的前几年,泸州老窖的净利润率实现了质的飞跃,从2005年的3%一路提升至2010年的42%。老窖虽然借助柒泉模式实现了业绩快速增长,但是随着2012年行业进入调整期,柒泉模式的弊端也逐渐显露。由于柒泉模式渠道层级较长,厂家对终端的掌控能力较弱,在行业下行周期经销体系波动较大。另外,柒泉模式由于是按片区划分经营范围,经销商倾向于在所在片区重点推广利润率更高的单品,不利于多品牌均衡发展。
